The Madison & Mayfair Rattan Shelf Unit is ideal for those looking to add a touch of natural, bohemian aesthetics to their interior decor without the permanence of wall-mounted furniture. Its primary benefit is its lightweight, leaning design which makes it highly versatile for small spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or entryways. However, users should be aware that because it is designed to lean, it must be used with caution near painted walls to avoid scuffing or transfer marks.

Yes, but ensure the room is well-ventilated to prevent moisture buildup within the natural fibers.
While durable for decor, we recommend sticking to lightweight items like small plants, books, or bathroom accessories.
Yes, the unit arrives fully assembled and ready to be placed in your home.
The total height of the shelf unit is 71cm.
Ensure the floor surface is level and that the feet are positioned firmly against the baseboard or floor edge.
Apply adhesive felt pads to the rear contact points of the frame where it meets the wall.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum attachment with a brush head to gently remove dust from the weave.
Setting up the unit is straightforward: simply lean the frame against a sturdy wall in your chosen location. To ensure the safety of your home, place a soft fabric pad or clear felt stickers between the contact points of the rattan frame and your wall to prevent potential marking or friction damage. For cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth to wipe away dust from the woven surfaces. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or excessive moisture, which can degrade the natural rattan material over time. Keep the unit away from direct, high-heat sources to prevent the fibers from becoming brittle.
