Yes, it is designed for outdoor conditions, but you should ensure it is placed in a sheltered area and provided with extra bedding during extreme cold.
The multiple access points allow for easy reach; use a pet-safe disinfectant and a stiff brush for the wooden surfaces.
This is a two-storey hutch; while it offers great movement space, many owners choose to attach a separate run for extra outdoor grazing time.
The size is spacious (136 x 50 x 92 cm), but ensure your pets have compatible personalities before housing them together.
The hutch is treated for outdoor use, but you may re-apply a pet-safe wood preservative annually to extend its lifespan.
Ensure the ground surface is completely level; use pavers or shims if necessary to stabilize the base.
Apply a small amount of non-toxic lubricant to the hinges and latch mechanisms to ensure smooth operation.
To set up your hutch, ensure you have a flat, stable base. Assemble the panels according to the instructions, ensuring all locking latches are securely aligned.
Compatibility: This hutch is ideal for rabbits and guinea pigs. It is recommended to keep it in a sheltered location if possible to prolong the life of the wood.
Care Instructions: Regularly check all latches to ensure they are functioning correctly. Sweep the floors weekly and perform a full deep clean with pet-safe disinfectant every few weeks to maintain a hygienic environment.
