Troubleshooting

Dog is experiencing loose stools or diarrhea after starting ZIWI Peak.

This may indicate a too-rapid transition. Slow down the introduction process by mixing a smaller amount of ZIWI Peak with your dog's current food and gradually increasing the proportion over a longer period (e.g., 14 days).

Dog is not eating the food.

Some dogs may take time to adjust to a new food. Try moistening the kibble with a little warm water or adding a small amount of a tasty topper (such as plain yogurt or cooked meat) to encourage your dog to eat. Ensure there are no underlying health issues and consult your vet.

Dog is gaining weight.

Reduce the feeding amount slightly and monitor your dog's weight regularly. Increase exercise. Consult your vet to ensure the weight gain is not due to an underlying health issue.

Bag is difficult to reseal.

Ensure the top of the bag is clean and free of food particles before attempting to reseal it. Store the food in an airtight container if the resealable bag is not working effectively.
