The Specialized Air Tool Sport Switch Hitter II Floor Pump is an essential maintenance tool designed for everyday cyclists who need a reliable, hassle-free way to maintain tire pressure. It stands out for its SwitchHitter II technology, which automatically adjusts to Schrader or Presta valves, saving users from fiddly head swaps. While it offers robust steel construction and high-volume output, its manual operation means it lacks the precision of high-end digital racing pumps.

Yes, it is compatible with tubeless tires, though it is a manual pump and does not feature a pressure chamber for initial tubeless seating.
Yes, the hose is a wear item and can be replaced if damaged over time.
The gauge is calibrated for accuracy, but it is not intended for user replacement. Contact a Specialized retailer for service issues.
The pump is rated for a maximum pressure of 160 PSI (11 bar).
No. The SwitchHitter II head automatically adapts to the valve type upon insertion.
Ensure the valve stem is fully extended and free of debris. Push the pump head firmly onto the valve until you feel a secure connection.
Inspect the rubber seal inside the pump head for wear or grit. Clean the seal with a damp cloth or replace it if it appears cracked.
Confirm that the pump head is fully seated on the valve. If the needle remains stationary, check for obstructions in the valve core or the hose.
This pump comes ready to use out of the box with no assembly required. It is universally compatible with both Presta (road) and Schrader (mountain/hybrid) valves. To ensure longevity, store the pump in a dry, indoor environment to prevent moisture from entering the steel barrel. Occasionally wipe the base and barrel with a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt. Ensure the hose is stored in the integrated clip when not in use to prevent kinks or cracks in the rubber tubing.
