FAQs
What size boilies can I use with this stick?
This is a 22mm throwing stick, making it perfectly compatible with 20mm and 22mm boilies.
How much does the throwing stick weigh?
The Daiwa Infinity Evo weighs just over 50 grams.
Is the throwing stick fragile?
While the carbon fiber is very strong and rigid for throwing, it should be protected from sharp impacts or crushing forces against hard surfaces.
Does it work better than a plastic throwing stick?
Yes, the carbon construction is significantly lighter and more rigid, which translates to faster swing speeds and reduced fatigue.
Where is this product made?
The Daiwa Infinity Evo Throwing Stick is proudly manufactured in the UK.
Troubleshooting
Bait sticking inside the tube
Ensure the interior of the tube is clean and dry. A light wipe with a silicone-based spray can help if damp conditions are causing drag.
Bait is falling short of the target
Check your release point. The carbon fiber requires a faster, snappier release than heavy plastic sticks to maximize the centrifugal force.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely lightweight design prevents arm fatigue
- High-modulus carbon fiber offers superior rigidity over plastic
- Curved design increases boilie stability and range
- Premium build quality manufactured in the UK
Cons
- Requires a learning curve for accurate bait placement
- Carbon fiber is more susceptible to blunt impact damage than plastic
- Higher initial investment compared to entry-level throwing sticks
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Daiwa Infinity Evo, keep the interior of the tube free from grit and debris. Compatibility is straightforward: the 22mm diameter is optimized for 20mm-22mm boilies. When not in use, store the stick in a protective hard case to prevent the carbon fiber from cracking or scratching. Avoid dropping the stick on hard rocks or concrete, as the lightweight carbon material is rigid but can be brittle under direct, high-impact force.
