Bartoline Teak Oil is a high-performance, deep-penetrating wood treatment designed for homeowners and woodworkers looking to restore and maintain the natural luster of indoor and outdoor wooden furniture. It is particularly effective for hardwoods and garden fixtures, providing essential protection against weathering and drying. While it offers superior preservation for many surfaces, users should note that it requires periodic reapplication to maintain optimal moisture resistance and finish quality.

While formulated for hardwood, it can be used on softwood, but may require more frequent applications as softwood is more porous.
The surface will typically be touch-dry in a few hours, but it is recommended to wait 24 hours before heavy use.
No, this product is designed for bare wood. It will not penetrate through paint or varnish.
Yes, it is suitable for indoor wooden furniture, provided the wood is not sealed with a topcoat like lacquer.
For optimal protection, re-oil your outdoor furniture at the start and end of the summer season.
A very light sanding with high-grit sandpaper between coats can help achieve a smoother, more professional finish.
You likely applied too much oil; wipe away the excess with a clean, dry cloth and let it cure for an additional 24 hours.
The wood may still have a factory finish, varnish, or old wax layer; you must sand the surface down to bare wood for the oil to penetrate.
This occurs if the wood was unevenly sanded or if the oil was applied inconsistently; lightly sand the patchy areas and re-apply a thin, uniform coat.
To apply, ensure the wood surface is dust-free and dry. Apply the oil generously using a clean, lint-free cloth or a natural bristle brush, moving in the direction of the grain. Allow the oil to penetrate for 10-15 minutes, then wipe away any excess product that hasn't soaked in to prevent a tacky surface. Store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. This product is compatible with most hardwoods but should not be used on wood that has been previously varnished or lacquered without first removing the old coating.
