Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: As a high-performance road bike, professional assembly is highly recommended. This ensures the carbon frame and components are correctly torqued and adjusted. Key areas include precise derailleur tuning, brake system bleeding, and wheel truing.
Compatibility: The bike utilizes standard road bike components. The SRAM Red AXS system is electronic, and compatible chargers and firmware updates are necessary. It is designed for 700c wheels and specific tire widths (700x25c recommended, check frame clearance for wider options).
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the frame, drivetrain, and wheels with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers, especially near bearings.
- Drivetrain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Electronic components require minimal mechanical adjustment but need battery charging.
- Brakes: Periodically check brake pad wear and rotor condition. Hydraulic systems may require bleeding by a qualified mechanic.
- Storage: Store the bike in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
