Full details
Discover the Honeyberry Siberian, a cold-hardy berry bush that brings a touch of sweetness to your garden. This bush produces delicious blueberries, loaded with antioxidants and vitamins. In spring, it showcases attractive white flowers that add charm to your landscape. Its remarkable cold tolerance makes it perfect for challenging climates. Plant in well-drained soil with ample sunlight, and prune after fruiting to encourage new growth. Applying mulch helps retain moisture and suppress weeds. Ensure the soil remains consistently moist throughout the growing season to promote optimal fruiting. Honeyberry Siberian is a must-have for gardeners looking to grow their own nutritious berries. The Siberian Honeyberry, Lonicera caerulea edulis is part of the Honeysuckle family. Native to Eastern Siberian, this small bush is very hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -40 C. It produces large elliptical berries that look and taste similar to blueberries. They can be eaten raw or used in jams and are very high in antioxidants and vitamin C. A great addition to your edible fruit plant collection! Plant in moist, well-drained soil. This plant prefers sandy, loamy and clay soils but it does not like waterlogged soils. As with most fruit and berry plants, the Honeyberry plant does also need a good exposure to sunlight, it does not fruit so well in the shade. Ensure that the soil remains moist but not overly wet, particularly after planting. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
