While intended for outdoor patios and balconies, they can be used indoors provided you use a tray underneath to catch excess water.

Do I need to buy additional supports for the plants?

No, the 4-part climbing frame is included and designed to support your plants as they climb.

Is the planter frost-proof?

It is made of durable, weather-resistant materials, but for long-term care, we recommend storing it indoors during extreme winter conditions.

What size plants should I use?

These are ideal for climbing or trailing plants like petunias, geraniums, and sweet peas.

How many planters come in the box?

The package contains a set of two complete planters, including pots, saucers, and frames.

Troubleshooting

Trellis feels unstable or wobbly

Ensure all 4 frame parts are snapped firmly together and that the base of the frame is fully seated into the pot's anchoring points.

Water pooling in the pot

Check that the pre-drilled holes at the bottom are not clogged with soil or roots; clear any blockages with a small stick or screwdriver.

Pewter finish looks dull

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild dish soap to remove dust and hard water deposits; avoid abrasive scrubbers that may scratch the surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Maximizes small spaces by promoting vertical plant growth
Set of two provides great value for cohesive garden styling
Durable, weather-resistant materials for seasonal longevity
Includes essential components like saucers and drainage holes
Easy to clean and maintain throughout the year

Cons

Requires assembly of the 4-part trellis frame
Large height may require staking in high-wind locations
Best suited for specific climbing or trailing varieties

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: start by placing the pot on your chosen surface, insert the drainage-conscious saucer, and assemble the 4-part frame sections securely. Ensure the frame is locked into the pot's designated slots to provide maximum stability for your climbers. For maintenance, wash the exterior with warm soapy water at the start and end of each season to maintain the pewter-effect finish. In winter, if you live in an area prone to harsh frosts, it is recommended to empty the pots and store them in a shed or garage to prolong their lifespan. Compatibility is best with annual climbers or trailing perennials that do not exceed the height of the 130cm frame.
