FAQs

Does this come with LED lights?

No, this is only the aluminium centre cover support piece. LED lights must be purchased separately.

Is this compatible with the Fluval Roma 125?

No, the Roma 125 requires a specific centre cover designed for that tank's smaller dimensions.

Can I use this with any brand of LED light?

While it is designed for the Fluval Roma 200, it is specifically optimized for use with Fluval lighting systems like the AquaSky 2.0.

Will this rust in a saltwater aquarium?

The aluminium is treated for aquatic use, but regular cleaning to remove salt spray is recommended to maintain its longevity.

Does it include the lid flaps?

No, the lid flaps are not included; this product is the centre support bar only.

Troubleshooting

Lid flaps feel loose or wobble

Ensure the centre cover is fully seated in the tank frame and that the flaps are properly engaged in the cover's guide channels.

Cover does not fit the tank rim

Confirm your aquarium model is the Roma 200. If it is a different model, such as the 125 or 240, you will require the specific centre cover size for that model.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This unit is compatible exclusively with the Fluval Roma 200 aquarium series.

Preparation: Ensure the tank is empty of any old light fixtures or broken housing components before installation.
Installation: Slide the aluminium cover into the designated grooves on the top frame of the Roma 200 tank until it locks firmly into place.
Component Check: Place your removable front and rear lid flaps into the channels provided on the centre cover.
Maintenance: To keep the aluminium finish in top condition, wipe it down with a damp cloth during water changes to prevent salt or mineral buildup. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners as they may degrade the protective coating.
