Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard tools including a measuring tape, level, and a metal-cutting saw if shortening the rails is necessary. Ensure you verify your staircase incline before mounting to keep the rail at a comfortable height, typically between 850mm and 1000mm from the floor. For care, simply wipe down the handrail with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the bonded leather-effect texture over time. Always ensure the mounting brackets are anchored securely into wall studs or solid masonry to support the weight of the rail and the user.
