Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unpack and Unroll: Carefully unroll the mat in your desired location. It may have a slight curl from packaging; allow it to lay flat for a few hours or overnight to settle.
- Positioning: Place the mat with the coin pattern facing upwards for maximum anti-slip performance.
- Trimming (Optional): If custom sizing is required, use a sharp utility knife and a straight edge to trim the mat. Cut from the underside for a cleaner edge. Ensure the surface below is protected.
- Ventilation: If an initial rubber smell is present, ensure the area is well-ventilated for the first 24-48 hours.
Compatibility
This matting is highly compatible with a range of environments including:
- Workshops: Ideal for industrial or personal workspaces.
- Garages: Suitable for vehicle parking areas or general garage use.
- Sheds: Perfect for garden sheds or utility storage areas.
- Vans & Trailers: Excellent for lining vehicle floors to secure cargo or for animal transport.
- Anywhere a durable, anti-slip, easy-to-clean surface is required.
Care
- Routine Cleaning: Simply sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris. For wet cleaning, use a damp mop or cloth with mild soap and water.
- Disinfection: Its non-porous surface allows for easy disinfection with common household disinfectants.
- Stain Removal: For tougher stains, use a soft brush with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the rubber.
- Drying: Allow the mat to air dry completely after wet cleaning to maintain its slip resistance.
