The Ferm Living Kids Bird Cotton Blanket is designed for parents and interior enthusiasts seeking a soft, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing textile for their nursery or living space. Yes, it is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, which is gentle and free from harmful chemicals, making it suitable for young children.
Yes, its quilted construction provides a soft surface, though it is thin and best used on carpeted areas or rugs for added padding.
You can use a wooden quilt hanger, a decorative rod with clips, or simply secure it with fabric-safe mounting putty or small upholstery tacks.
The blanket measures 80 x 110 cm.
The decorative seams are designed to secure the recycled polyester filling in place, provided you follow the gentle washing instructions.
The use of GOTS-certified cotton minimizes the presence of common irritants, but individual sensitivity can vary.
Lay the blanket flat or use a low-heat steamer to gently smooth out creases without pressing down on the quilting.
Ensure the blanket is placed inside a mesh laundry bag before machine washing to prevent it from catching on other items.
As a ready-to-use textile, this blanket requires no formal setup. To maintain the longevity of the organic cotton and the recycled polyester fill, it is recommended to follow gentle care practices. Wash the blanket on a cold, delicate cycle to prevent shrinking and preserve the stitching. Always air dry to avoid heat damage to the synthetic filling, which can compromise the loft of the quilt. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleaches that could fade the autumnal colors.
