Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the device you are connecting to has an RF Coaxial Aerial Socket (the standard push-in type).
- Ensure the cable or device you are connecting *from* has an F-Type Connector (the screw-on type).
- Gently push the RF Coaxial Male Plug end of the adapter into the device's aerial socket until it clicks or feels secure.
- Screw the F-Type Connector (female) end of the adapter onto the corresponding F-Type plug on your cable.
Compatibility:
- Connector Type A: TV Coaxial plug (Male)
- Connector Type B: F Connector (Female)
This adapter is designed for standard RF coaxial and F-type connections commonly used in television aerial and satellite systems. It is not suitable for other types of coaxial connections like BNC or SMA.
Care:
- Keep the adapter in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.
- Avoid excessive force when connecting or disconnecting to prevent damage to the internal pins or threads.
- Periodically check connections for dust or debris, and clean gently with a dry cloth if necessary.
