Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the longevity of your jacket, always ensure the front zipper is fully closed and the back adjuster on the hood is pulled taut before heading into inclement weather. For layering, the jacket is cut to allow for a base layer or a lightweight fleece underneath.
Care Instructions:
- Machine wash at a low temperature using technical gear detergent.
- Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
- Line dry naturally; if the water repellency fades over time, tumble dry on a low setting or iron on cool to reactivate the DWR treatment.
- Regularly inspect seams after particularly abrasive hikes to ensure the taped seals remain intact.
