The Phoenix Battery Fighter Series is meticulously designed for both residential and commercial settings, ensuring reliable storage and effective charging of Lithium-Ion batteries. Rechargeable batteries carry inherent risks, such as thermal runaway triggered by temperature fluctuations, impacts, or production flaws. These risks can lead to hard-to-extinguish battery fires, posing serious threats to lives and property. This safe is suitable for storing and charging batteries for power tools, garden tools, e-bikes/scooters, drones, laptops, mobile phones, and standard household rechargeable batteries (AAA, AA, Type C, Type D, 9V). It features an internal smoke detector and an external, wireless alarm. Safely charge batteries using the fitted power points, which include 3 Double PDUs and 6 sockets. Warning labels are fitted in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, as well as the European directive 92/58/EEC. The safe has been fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through burning building floors. Its double-wall construction with patented Styronite F insulation provides great strength and fire/heat resistance. It is equipped with an advanced high-security electronic lock with a scrambled code as standard. Tested to Swedish NT Fire 017-90 Paper, it offers 90 minutes of fire protection for paper documents. The safe is recommended for an overnight cash risk of £2,500 or valuables of £25,000. It is prepared for floor fixing, with fixing bolts for concrete floors supplied. Features include internal key hooks, a pull-out drawer, and height-adjustable shelves. The safe is finished in a high-quality, scratch-resistant white paint (RAL9003). Optional features include an SP Safe Monitor for enhanced safety, which can be fitted with an internal temperature and humidity monitor that links to a mobile phone app and alerts you if the maximum set temperature is breached.
