Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Before installation, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or debris. Measure your intended space carefully to select the correct splashback size. The splashback can be mounted using a strong, kitchen-grade adhesive or screws. If using adhesive, apply it evenly to the back of the splashback and press firmly into place. For screw mounting, pre-drilling pilot holes in the splashback (if the material allows for it without damage) and the wall is recommended. Ensure the splashback is level before permanently fixing it.
Compatibility:
This splashback is compatible with most standard kitchen wall types, including drywall, plaster, and tile backer boards. It is designed to be installed behind standard cooktops (gas and electric), ovens, and sinks. Ensure sufficient clearance from any open flames if installing directly behind a gas hob, following manufacturer recommendations for your cooktop.
Care:
Cleaning is straightforward. Use a soft, damp cloth with mild detergent for everyday cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the brushed stainless steel finish. For stubborn grease or food stains, a gentle degreaser followed by wiping with a damp cloth is usually sufficient. Always dry the surface thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth after cleaning to prevent water spots.
