The Faithfull Earth Auger Drill Bit is an essential tool for gardeners and landscapers who need to dig multiple holes quickly and with minimal physical strain. Designed for use with standard drills, this tool excels at preparing soil for bulbs, bedding plants, and small fence posts, though it is intended specifically for soil and clay penetration and should not be used in rocky or dense aggregate-filled ground.

This auger is designed for standard drill/drivers. Impact drivers may provide too much torque or vibration, which can damage the drill or the auger connection.
This specific model creates a 40mm diameter hole.
Yes, it is specifically designed to cut through solid clay with ease, provided your drill has sufficient torque.
This auger is 220mm in length, allowing you to reach a maximum depth of approximately 220mm.
Yes, you can carefully use a file to maintain the cutting edge, but avoid removing excessive metal as this will affect the structural integrity.
You may be applying too much pressure or hitting a hard obstruction like a stone. Lift the bit, clear any debris, and try again with less downward force.
Ensure the chuck is tightened securely onto the flat surfaces of the hex shank.
Pull the bit out of the hole periodically while the drill is running to clear the flights and remove the excavated earth.
To set up the auger, insert the shank directly into your drill's 3/8-inch chuck and tighten firmly to ensure no slippage during operation.
Compatibility: This bit is compatible with most standard corded and 18V cordless drills. Always check that your drill supports the 3/8-inch hex drive format.
