This listing is for 1 x stub axle complete with 1 x hub and complete bearing set. The stub axle makes the item longer and kicks the hub away further from the side of the trailer. Ideal for use when the wheels being replaced are wider like flotation tyres or the rim on the wheel is not centralised. Can also be fitted to road trailers if fitted to a suitable suspension system. Weld on stub axle made from solid steel for maximum strength and durability. It has a solid end that can be welded or bolted, ideal for sliding into box section for easy attachment. It has a capacity of up to 750kg per axle (so 2 stub axles). Specifications: Trailer stub axle, Total length (complete) – 130mm, Stub axle shaft diameter – 1 inch / 25.4mm, Stub axle shaft length – 50mm, End of the stub axle dimensions – 37mm (W) x 25mm (H), Material – Steel (heavy duty). The cast hub is a taper roller bearing hub made from cast hub for maximum strength and durability. It is a 4 stud hub with 4 inch PCD (PCD = Pitch centre Diameter – distance diagonally from one stud to another). It comes complete fitted with 3/8in wheel studs. The bearing races are already pressed into the hub meaning no specialist tools are required to fit the hubs. The hub is also fitted with a grease nipple and metal hub cap. Listing includes: 1 x Cast Hub, 1 x outer bearing (complete with seal), 1 x inner bearing, 1 x hub cap, 4 x 3/8in wheel nuts, 1 x stub axle (complete with castle nut, washer and split pin).
