Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the planter is straightforward. Place the unit on a flat, level surface to ensure stability. If placing on hardwood floors or sensitive patio surfaces, consider using a saucer or felt furniture pads to prevent potential scuffing. To maintain the finish, simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; the rubber material is naturally resistant to grime and does not require specialized treatments or sealants. To prepare for planting, add a layer of gravel or expanded clay pellets at the bottom before adding your potting mix, which helps facilitate drainage and prevents the soil from compacting around the drainage hole.
