Product Information
Full details
The Xterminate Protector C Dust Mite Spray is designed for homeowners seeking a professional-grade solution to eliminate dust mite infestations in soft furnishings like mattresses, carpets, and upholstery. Its primary benefit is a long-lasting insect growth regulator that halts the lifecycle of mites, preventing re-infestation; however, users should note that treated surfaces must be allowed to dry completely before use, which requires planning for bedding changes.

FAQs
Is this safe to use around pets?
It is recommended to remove pets from the area during application and keep them away from treated surfaces until the spray has dried completely.
How often should I reapply?
For active infestations, reapply as directed on the label; for maintenance, a treatment every few months is usually sufficient to prevent return.
Does it have a strong odor?
While it is designed for home use, it is best to ventilate the room during and shortly after application until the product is dry.
Can I use this on delicate fabrics like silk?
Always test on a small, hidden area first to ensure there is no color fading or material damage before treating the entire item.
What happens if it gets on my skin?
Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water immediately. If irritation persists, consult the product safety data or a medical professional.
Troubleshooting
Spray nozzle is clogged
Rinse the nozzle under warm water and wipe the tip to remove any dried residue.
Visible residue on dark fabric
Use a light, mist-like setting and ensure you are not over-applying the product to the surface.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Always shake the 3L container gently before use to ensure the active ingredients are properly dispersed.
- Application: Apply in a well-ventilated room. Maintain a steady motion to ensure a light, even coat rather than saturating the fabric.
- Drying: Allow the treated area to air-dry completely. Do not replace sheets or use the treated furniture until the surface is dry to the touch.
- Compatibility: Safe for most common household fabrics. If concerned about delicate materials, perform a small spot test in an inconspicuous area.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightly closed to prevent evaporation or contamination.
