No, the Insta360 X5 Bike Accessory Kit does not include the camera.
While technically possible, it is recommended to use the selfie stick for stationary or low-speed cinematic b-roll rather than technical mountain biking due to leverage and wind resistance.
It is recommended to hand wash the chest strap in warm water with mild detergent and air dry it to maintain the elasticity of the straps.
The mount is designed to fit most standard bike handlebars. Please check the included spacers to ensure a secure fit for your specific handlebar size.
No, the lens cap is strictly for protection during transport and storage; it must be removed before operating the camera.
Verify that all mount fasteners are tightened completely and that there is no slack in the chest strap elastic.
Ensure the camera is perfectly aligned with the stick as per manufacturer instructions; if the stick is rotated or bent significantly, the stitching software may fail to hide it.
Ensure you are using the correct rubber spacer inserts provided in the kit to match your specific handlebar diameter.
To set up your kit, ensure the camera is mounted firmly using the standard tripod thread or dedicated Insta360 mounting clips. For the chest strap, pull the elastic bands until snug but comfortable, ensuring the base plate rests flat against your sternum. The handlebar mount should be tightened using the provided hardware, checking for clearance around brake cables. Care is straightforward: after a ride, wipe the accessories with a dry cloth to remove dirt or sweat. If you have been riding in muddy or dusty conditions, wash the fabric of the chest strap with warm water and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely. Always keep the lens cap on when storing the camera in a backpack or bike bag.
