Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the 248F requires basic hand tools and familiarity with the rear subframe of the Honda Blackbird. You must first mount the frame to the bike's existing structural points. Crucially, you must select either the GIVI M3 plate (for Monokey cases) or the MM plate (for Monolock cases) to mount onto this frame. Ensure all bolts are tightened to manufacturer specifications and consider using a thread-locking compound on vibration-prone fasteners. Periodically inspect the rack for any loose bolts or signs of wear, and wipe the frame with a damp cloth to keep the powder-coated finish looking new.
