Troubleshooting
Cushion feels uneven or lumpy.
Gently plump the cushion to redistribute the filling. If the issue persists, it may be due to the natural settling of the fibre and foam.
Rattan frame appears dry or faded.
Wipe down the rattan with a very lightly damp cloth. For significant fading, consult specialized rattan care products, testing in an inconspicuous area first.
Storage compartment smells musty.
Empty the compartment and wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth. Place a sachet of silica gel or baking soda inside to absorb moisture and odours. Ensure the footstool is in a well-ventilated area.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: This footstool requires no assembly. It arrives ready for immediate use.
Compatibility: The Desser Furniture Footstool is designed to complement the Desser range of furniture, particularly its seating options, due to its specific height (H:46 cm). While it can be used with other furniture, its height may be best suited for lower seating.
Care:
- Rattan: Clean the rattan frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the natural material. For spills, wipe immediately.
- Cushions: The cushions are hand-sewn and should be spot-cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Ensure cushions are fully dry before use.
- Storage: Regularly check the hidden storage compartment for moisture to prevent mildew. Air it out periodically.
