Full details

This Homescapes Luxury Reversible Cotton Shower Mat in Lilac is designed for homeowners seeking a luxurious and absorbent addition to their bathroom. Its key benefit is providing a spa-like feel underfoot while enhancing safety by reducing slippage. A notable caveat is the absence of a built-in anti-slip backing, requiring a separate purchase for maximum security. Key features include its 1600gsm pure cotton construction, reversible design with a plush tufted side and a textured looped side, and quick-drying properties.

FAQs

What are the dimensions of the mat?

The Homescapes Luxury Reversible Cotton Shower Mat measures 50 cm x 50 cm.

Does the mat have an anti-slip backing?

No, this mat does not have a built-in anti-slip backing. A separate anti-slip mat is available and recommended for added safety.

How do I clean the mat?

It is recommended to handwash the mat gently in cold water with a mild detergent and air dry. Alternatively, it can be machine washed on a 30°C delicate cycle and tumble dried on a low temperature.

What does 1600gsm mean?

GSM stands for 'grams per square meter,' which is a measure of the density and weight of the fabric. A higher GSM, like 1600, indicates a thicker, denser, and more luxurious and absorbent mat.

Can I use this mat outside the shower area?

Yes, this mat is suitable for any bathroom setting, including beside the sink or as a general floor covering.

Is the mat suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, made from pure cotton, the mat is naturally breathable, skin-friendly, and gentle on the skin.

Troubleshooting

Mat is not drying quickly enough.

Ensure the mat is placed in a well-ventilated area. Avoid overcrowding it with other items. Consider using the tumble dry on low setting if machine washed.

Mat feels slippery on the floor.

This mat does not have a built-in anti-slip backing. For increased safety, place a separate anti-slip mat underneath the cotton mat.

Colors appear faded after washing.

Use only mild detergents and cold water for handwashing. If machine washing, ensure the delicate cycle is used and avoid excessive heat during drying.

Mat has lost some of its plushness.

Gentle handwashing and air drying are best for maintaining the plush texture. If machine washing, use the lowest heat setting for tumble drying.
