Full details

The KMS ThermaShape Straightening Creme is designed for individuals seeking a sleek, polished look while using heat styling tools. It provides essential heat protection and humidity resistance, ensuring your style remains smooth and frizz-free for up to 72 hours. While it offers a flexible hold and radiant shine, users should note that it is specifically formulated for heat-activated styling and may not provide the same benefits if hair is air-dried without heat application.

FAQs

Can I use this product on damp or dry hair?

It is recommended to apply this to towel-dried, damp hair before blow-drying for the best distribution and heat protection.

Does this product work on color-treated hair?

Yes, the formula is gentle and suitable for most hair types, including color-treated hair.

Will this make my hair look greasy?

When used in the correct amount, it provides a healthy shine rather than a greasy finish. Start with a small amount and build up if needed.

Do I still need a separate heat protectant?

No, the ThermaShape Straightening Creme provides built-in heat protection up to 230°C/446°F.

How long does a 150ml bottle last?

Usage depends on hair length and thickness, but since only a small amount is needed per application, a 150ml bottle typically lasts several months.

Troubleshooting

Hair feels oily or weighed down

Use a smaller pea-sized amount and focus application exclusively on the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots.

Frizz returns before 72 hours

Ensure you are thoroughly blow-drying the hair until completely dry; moisture left in the hair can compromise the humidity barrier.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Protects hair from high heat up to 446°F
Provides long-lasting humidity resistance for up to 3 days
Formula leaves hair with a natural-looking glossy shine
Flexible hold keeps style intact without stiffness
Contains antioxidant-rich ingredients to combat environmental stress

Cons

Requires heat styling to activate the smoothing properties
Not suitable for those seeking a voluminous, textured look
Scent may be noticeable to those sensitive to fragrance

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This product is compatible with all professional-grade heat styling tools, including blow dryers, curling wands, and flat irons. Since it offers thermal protection, it is an ideal companion for high-heat settings. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the antioxidant-rich pomegranate ingredients. Always ensure the cap is tightly closed after use to prevent the cream from drying out or losing its potency.
