This listing is for a single replacement brake drum hub, ideal for replacing worn, damaged, or corroded brake drums. It is suitable for virtually all Indespension trailers over 2900kg, but does not fit triple axle trailers. This brake drum will only replace drums with a casting reference of 4897, which is normally engraved on the rear side of the brake drum. It features a 5 stud wheel fitment with a 6.5" (165.1mm) PCD and requires a 65mm hub cap. The brake drum is suitable for use with M16 wheel studs and has a 230mm internal drum diameter (260mm overall diameter). To identify the correct brake drum, match the casting numbers, which are usually found inside the drum or on the outer edge. Ensure your wheel PCD and hub cap diameter match, and compare the internal diameters as a final check. Brakes are a critical safety system, so it is essential to verify the new part is identical to the old one before fitting.
