No, the unit is convection-cooled and does not require a fan.
Yes, there is a built-in potentiometer that allows for a 10% adjustment of the output.
It is designed for industrial enclosures, but you must ensure the enclosure is weatherproof and properly ventilated.
The LS50-5 has a high MTBF rating of 700,000 hours.
It complies with UL 60950-1, EN 60950-1, and IEC 60950-1 standards.
The unit provides a maximum of 10A at 5V DC.
Check input power connection and ensure the AC source is within the 88-264V range.
Use the built-in potentiometer to fine-tune the output to exactly 5V DC.
Verify that the total load does not exceed 50W and ensure adequate ambient airflow.
Ensure the power supply is mounted in an orientation that allows for adequate airflow, as it relies on natural convection cooling. While it accepts a wide range of input voltages, always verify that your local supply is within the 88-264V AC specification. To maintain performance, clean dust accumulation from the chassis periodically to prevent heat buildup. Always monitor the temperature in your enclosure, as the unit may require electrical load de-rating if the ambient temperature exceeds the manufacturer's specified thresholds.
