Allow the foliage to die back naturally, as this process helps the bulb store energy for next year's growth.
Check if the soil is waterlogged; bulbs may have rotted if drainage is insufficient.
This is often caused by lack of sunlight; ensure they are in a spot with at least partial direct sun.
Ensure they are kept in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct heat or humidity.
For the best results, plant your bulbs in autumn or winter in fertile, well-draining soil. Choose a location that receives full sun or partial shade to ensure the stems remain sturdy. If you are not planting the bulbs immediately upon receipt, it is critical to store them in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and frost-free environment to maintain their viability. Once planted, ensure the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. After the flowering period ends, allow the foliage to die back naturally to nourish the bulb for the following year's growth.
