Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install these rein stops, ensure the leather reins are clean and free of excessive grease or oil, which could cause the rubber to slip prematurely. We recommend applying a light amount of warm water or mild leather conditioner to the inner hole of the stop to facilitate sliding it over the rein buckles.
Care Instructions:
- Periodically inspect the rubber for cracks or signs of dry rot, especially if stored in extreme temperatures.
- Keep clean by wiping with a damp cloth after use to remove sweat and arena dust.
- Store in a cool, dry place within your tack box to maintain the elasticity of the rubber.
