Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in fully.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click. Rotate the crown to set the date. Ensure you set the date when the hour hand is past the 12 to avoid issues with the AM/PM cycle.
- Using the Chronograph: Press the top pusher to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop. Press the bottom pusher to reset the chronograph hands to zero.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog watch and does not require compatibility with other electronic devices.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the surfaces.
- Water Resistance: After exposure to saltwater or chlorine, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. Ensure the crown is pushed in before exposing to water.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve its appearance.
- Battery: The quartz movement will require a battery replacement typically every 2-3 years. Consult a professional watchmaker for battery changes to maintain water resistance.
