Product Information

Full details

The Fabelab Fabric Christmas Calendar in green is designed for families looking to establish meaningful holiday traditions through an interactive, reusable countdown. Its primary benefit is the ability to create personalized daily surprises, serving as both a functional advent calendar and a charming, nostalgic decorative piece for your home. However, because it relies on small golden rings for hanging items, users must supply their own small treats or ornaments to fully populate the calendar each season.

FAQs

Can I machine wash the calendar?

We recommend spot cleaning only to ensure the decorations and golden rings remain in perfect condition.

Are the gifts or treats included?

No, the calendar is a decorative piece, and you should fill the rings with your own personalized gifts or treats.

What is the best way to hang the calendar?

A simple wall hook or a decorative rod works best, provided the surface is clear and allows the calendar to hang flat against the wall.

Are the decorations child-safe?

While the product is designed for family use, small parts like the golden rings or attached ornaments may pose a choking hazard for children under three; adult supervision is recommended.

Can I use this calendar every year?

Yes, the durable fabric construction is intended for long-term reuse, making it a sustainable choice for your holiday traditions.

Troubleshooting

Decorations are sliding or falling off

Ensure that the loops or ties on the decorations are firmly threaded through or knotted around the golden rings.

Calendar hanging crooked on the wall

Adjust the weight distribution of the gifts or ornaments attached to the rings to ensure the load is balanced across the width of the calendar.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Environmentally friendly and reusable for years
Encourages family interaction and daily traditions
High-quality fabric materials ensure longevity
Versatile design allows for personalized content in the golden rings
Serves as a beautiful, festive wall decoration

Cons

Requires manual assembly of gifts or ornaments
Small items may pose a choking hazard for very young children
Limited to hanging lighter items due to the ring size

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your calendar, secure it to a wall using a sturdy hook or decorative ribbon that can support the weight of the fabric and the items you plan to hang. Ensure the surface is flat to allow the decorations to sit properly. Compatibility-wise, the golden rings are designed for small-scale items; avoid hanging heavy objects that could stretch or tear the fabric loops. For care, keep the calendar in a cool, dry place during the off-season. If the fabric becomes dusty, gently shake it out or use a soft lint brush to maintain its appearance. Do not machine wash unless specifically indicated on the care label to preserve the integrity of the festive decorations.
