A simple and convenient way to grow bulbs, these baskets are so easy to use. They’re suitable for all bulbs and have an innovative design that lets them grow to their full potential but then makes it easy to remove them once their display is over. Just add a little soil or compost to the basket and arrange your bulbs. Then dig a hole in your border or container that’s the correct depth for your chosen bulbs (usually 2 or 3 times as deep as the bulb is tall) and place the basket in the hole and cover with soil. The bulbs will root through the holes in the bottom of the basket and grow. Once blubs have finished flowering, they need to be left in the ground so that their leaves can feed them, making them ready for the following year. However, this can look unsightly, and this is where the bulb basket comes into its own. After flowering, just lift the whole basket out of the ground and store it elsewhere and let the foliage die back out of sight.
