FAQs

What is the maximum weight this hanger can hold?

This hanger is designed to support a maximum weight of 2kg.

Does this hanger come in different colors?

This specific model is available in a grey color family.

Can I use this for heavy jackets?

No, it is not recommended for heavy items like winter coats or heavy denim, as they may exceed the 2kg weight limit.

What are the dimensions when folded?

The folded dimensions are 25 x 6.2 x 0.8 cm.

Is the material rust-resistant?

The hanger is constructed from durable aluminium, which is generally resistant to corrosion, though it should be wiped down if used in humid conditions.

Does it have non-slip features?

The surface is smooth aluminium, so it is best used for garments that don't easily slide off, or you can add a small silicone grip to the ends.

Troubleshooting

Hanger will not stay in the open position.

Check the hinge mechanisms for any trapped lint or debris. Ensure you are pushing the arms firmly until they click into the locked position.

Hanger arms feel stiff when folding.

Do not force the hinge. Gently wiggle the joint while folding to ensure the internal mechanism is aligned properly.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely compact and easy to pack
Lightweight yet durable aluminium build
Ideal for narrow storage spaces or travel
Standard width ensures clothing maintains shape

Cons

Not suitable for heavy garments like wool coats
Mechanical joints require gentle handling
Limited weight capacity of 2kg

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the hanger is straightforward: simply pull the arms outward until they lock into the 38cm position. To store, gently nudge the hinges to release the lock and fold the arms inward. Compatibility is broad, as the 38cm width fits most standard adult clothing, though it may be slightly wide for children's apparel. To maintain the hanger, wipe the aluminium surface with a dry, soft cloth occasionally to remove dust or lint. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges that may scratch the grey finish, and store in a dry environment to ensure the hinges remain smooth and responsive.
