FAQs

Can I remove the top handle?

No, the top handle is fixed to the design to ensure structural integrity and a secure grip.

Is the strap long enough for cross-body wear?

Yes, the included strap is fully adjustable to accommodate different body types and preferred carry lengths.

What is the best way to clean the enamelled D plaque?

Use a soft, non-abrasive microfibre cloth to gently buff the metal surface to remove fingerprints.

Does the bag fit a standard tablet?

The 1DR is designed for smaller personal items; it is not recommended for tablets or large electronics.

Is the leather water resistant?

The leather is a natural material and should be kept dry. If it gets wet, blot it with a dry cloth immediately and let it air dry away from direct heat sources.

Troubleshooting

Magnetic closure is not staying shut

Ensure that the internal contents are not preventing the flap from laying flat and that no debris is stuck to the magnetic hardware.

Shoulder strap feels uncomfortable

Adjust the buckle on the detachable strap to better suit your height and preference for where the bag sits on your hip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile carrying options with adjustable strap
Stylish and iconic design
Multiple internal and external storage pockets
High-quality leather material

Cons

Leather requires specific care to prevent scuffs
Magnetic closure requires deliberate alignment
Size is best for daily essentials rather than large items

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your bag, attach the shoulder strap to the side d-rings if you prefer cross-body wear; otherwise, the bag arrives ready for immediate shoulder use. The magnetic closure is designed to snap shut automatically as the flap nears the base. To maintain the leather, avoid contact with heavy rain and store the bag in a dust cover when not in use. If the surface becomes dusty, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never use harsh chemical cleaners on the leather or the enamelled D plaque.
