No, this product is the cargo basket only. You must have existing roof rack crossbars on your vehicle to mount it.
Yes, the basket features a spraying and galvanizing surface treatment designed to withstand various weather conditions and resist corrosion.
You can use bungee cords, cargo nets, or heavy-duty ratchet straps by looping them through the steel side rails and cross-members of the basket.
The basket features a two-section design that is straightforward to assemble with standard hand tools, provided you follow the included instructions.
Check all U-bolt connections and mounting hardware to ensure they are fully tightened and properly seated against the crossbars.
Verify that your vehicle's crossbars are spaced within the range required by the basket's mounting points; you may need to adjust the position of the crossbars on your vehicle.
Installation is straightforward using the included universal U-bolts. Before mounting, ensure your vehicle has factory or aftermarket crossbars installed, as the basket requires these to clamp onto. Check the spacing between your bars to confirm it aligns with the mounting points on the basket. For maintenance, periodically inspect the U-bolt hardware to ensure it remains tight after rough driving conditions. Although the basket is galvanized and sprayed to resist rust, cleaning it with mild soap and water after exposure to salty road conditions during winter months will significantly extend its lifespan.
