Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Locate Studs: Identify wall studs using a stud finder for secure mounting. If studs are not available, use appropriate heavy-duty drywall anchors.
- Position Bracket: Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at your desired height and mark the screw hole positions.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Attach Bracket: Securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws (or appropriate wall anchors).
- Slide Shelf: Carefully slide the floating shelf onto the mounted bracket until it sits flush against the wall.
Compatibility:
The shelf is designed to be mounted on most standard wall types. Ensure you use mounting hardware suitable for your specific wall material (e.g., drywall, plaster, brick). Check the weight capacity of your chosen mounting hardware to ensure it can support the shelf and its intended contents.
Care:
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Protect from direct sunlight and excessive moisture to prevent wood warping or discoloration.
