How much product should I use?

Use the entire contents of the bottle, as directed on the label.

Can I use this product preventatively?

It is not recommended. Bar's Leaks Radiator Stop Leak is designed to fix leaks, not for preventive use.

How long does it take for the product to work?

You should see results within 15 minutes of engine operation. The leak should stop or significantly reduce.

Will this product clog my cooling system?

No, Bar's Leaks is formulated to circulate through the system without causing clogs when used as directed.

Is it safe to use with all types of coolant?

Yes, it is compatible with all types of coolant.

Where should I add the product?

Add the product directly into the radiator, not the overflow tank.

What if I accidentally spill the product?

Wipe it up immediately and rinse the area with water. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Troubleshooting

Leak persists after application.

Ensure the leak is within the product's 0.9 mm sealing capability. Larger leaks may require professional repair. Also, verify that the product was added correctly to the radiator and the engine was run for the recommended time.

Coolant level drops after use.

Check for leaks elsewhere in the cooling system. While Bar's Leaks aims to stop small leaks, it doesn't guarantee a fix in every situation.

Product seems ineffective.

Make sure you followed the instructions correctly, and the engine ran for the complete time period. If the issue still persists, the leak might be too large for the product to handle.
