Blephademodex Daily Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are sterile wipes impregnated with a soothing lotion containing PEG-8, polysorbate 80, poloxamer 184, Terpinen-4-ol, PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, sodium hyaluronate, dipotassium phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and purified water. Free from aggressive detergents and preservatives, these wipes have a fresh scent from natural ingredients that dissipates shortly after application. The color may vary due to natural plant extracts, specifically Terpinen-4-ol from tea tree oil, which is normal. Blephademodex is recommended for daily eyelid hygiene in cases of Demodex blepharitis and to alleviate symptoms of eyelid infections or inflammation caused by Demodex. Demodex mites are common skin parasites; an overload can cause irritating symptoms like itching, burning, sore eyelids, redness on the lid margin, and a foreign body sensation. The presence of eyelash dandruff at the base of the lashes is a strong indicator of a Demodex infection. Standard daily cleansing products do not remove these mites, necessitating a dedicated treatment. Blephademodex effectively cleans crusts, eyelash dandruff, impurities, and infectious agents from the eyelids and eyelashes. It improves symptoms associated with Demodex infections, including itching, burning, dryness, and lid margin inflammation, while reducing eyelid redness and foreign body sensations. The wipe contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural moisturizing agent that soothes and regenerates sensitive skin.
