Full details
The Nash Pop Up Mat is designed for the dedicated carp angler who prioritizes fish safety without sacrificing mobility. Its primary benefit is the rapid, stress-free deployment system that provides a secure, cushioned sanctuary for your catch in seconds. While it excels at portability, users should note that its fixed footprint requires careful placement on uneven or very rocky terrain to ensure the base padding remains effective for larger specimen fish.

How do I store the mat?
The mat is designed to fold into its own integrated, zipped base, resulting in a pack-down size of 50cm x 54cm.
Is the material safe for fish?
Yes, it is manufactured from fish-friendly, wipe-clean materials that protect the fish's protective slime layer.
Can I use this on concrete or wooden platforms?

Does it come with pegs?
The mat features reinforced pegging points; however, standard bankstick pegs are generally required for secure anchoring.
Troubleshooting
Frame does not spring into shape fully
Check that no parts of the fabric or base padding are caught or twisted within the frame's hinges during deployment.
Mat feels unstable on the ground
Ensure that the pegging points at both ends are utilized to anchor the mat firmly, especially on sloped banks.
Difficulty folding the mat for storage
Ensure all air is pushed out of the foam padding while folding and that the frame is folded in the correct sequence as indicated by the tension points.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Remove the mat from its folded storage state by unzipping the base. The frame will automatically expand. Once expanded, push the foam base flat inside the frame and ensure the Velcro or securing mechanisms are tight. Always use the provided pegging points to secure the mat to the ground to prevent it from moving.
Compatibility: This mat is designed for standard to large carp up to approximately 108cm in length. It is compatible with most standard landing net sizes.
Care: To maintain the longevity of the mat, always rinse the base with clean water after use to remove debris or fish slime. Allow the mat to air dry completely in a shaded area before folding it for storage. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use to prevent material degradation.
