Troubleshooting
Chair wobbles or feels unstable.
Ensure the seat is securely attached to the swivel base. Check if all bolts are tightened correctly. If the wobble persists, inspect the swivel base for any damage or unevenness. Ensure the chair is placed on a level surface.
Swivel mechanism is stiff or noisy.
Check for any obstructions around the swivel base. A light application of a silicone-based lubricant might help, applied carefully to the pivot points of the swivel mechanism. Avoid over-lubricating.
Upholstery shows signs of wear or discoloration.
Avoid exposing the chair to direct sunlight for extended periods, which can cause fading. Clean spills immediately using the recommended methods. For deeper cleaning, consult a professional upholstery cleaner.
Chair squeaks when sat on.
This could be due to friction between parts of the frame or swivel mechanism. Gently check for any loose components and tighten them. If the squeak persists, a small amount of lubricant on the swivel's moving parts might resolve it.
