Product Information

Full details

Olaplex Shape Set Hairspray is designed for adults of all hair types seeking a long-lasting, flexible hold that simultaneously repairs hair health. It offers the key benefit of up to 96 hours of frizz control and heat protection up to 450°F without the sticky, crunchy residue common in traditional sprays; however, users should note that as a lightweight, buildable formula, those needing an industrial-strength "cement" hold for extreme architectural styles may find it requires more layers to achieve their desired stiffness.

FAQs

Is this hairspray safe for color-treated hair?

Yes, it is formulated to be safe for all hair types, including color-treated hair, and it includes ingredients that focus on hair health.

Does it replace my heat protectant serum?

While it offers 450°F heat protection, you may continue using your favorite leave-in treatment for additional moisture, applying the spray as the final styling step.

Can I brush through my hair after using it?

Yes, the formula is specifically designed to be brushable and crunch-free, allowing for restyling without damage.

Is it suitable for fine hair?

Yes, the lightweight, buildable formula is excellent for fine hair because it provides hold without adding excessive weight or stiffness.

How long does the hold actually last?

The formula provides up to 96 hours of frizz control and flexible hold, though individual results may vary based on hair texture and environmental humidity.

Troubleshooting

Nozzle clogging or uneven spray pattern

Remove the nozzle cap and rinse it under warm water to dissolve dried product buildup, then dry thoroughly before replacing.

Hair feels slightly tacky during application

Ensure you are holding the can at least 6-10 inches away; applying too close can concentrate the liquid and prevent the dry-touch finish from forming immediately.
