Full details

The PLAYMOBIL Firefighting Helicopter is designed for children ages 4 and up who enjoy immersive, action-oriented rescue play. Its primary appeal lies in the realistic water-spraying function that transforms standard imaginative play into an interactive experience, though parents should note that the water-based features require adult supervision to keep play areas dry. FAQs

Does the set include a pilot figure?

Yes, the set includes one pilot figure to operate the helicopter.

Can I use the helicopter with other PLAYMOBIL sets?

Absolutely, it is specifically designed to work with other City Action fire rescue sets like the Fire Station (72191).

Is the water feature messy?

It is designed to be contained, but because it involves real water, it is best used in a play area where minor spills are acceptable.

What is the recommended age for this toy?

The set is recommended for children ages 4 and up due to small parts.

Do I need batteries for this toy?

No, all features, including the rotors and water spray, are manually operated and do not require batteries.

Troubleshooting

Water will not spray from the nozzle

Ensure the water tank is securely attached and that there is no air blockage in the intake; try clearing the nozzle with a thin pin if obstructed.

Rotor blades feel stiff or do not spin freely

Check that the rotor assembly is fully snapped into place and that no debris is caught in the pivot point.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the helicopter, attach the rotor blades and snap the side-mounted accessories into their designated holders. The water tank should be filled by submerging the intake nozzle into a container and squeezing to suction up water.

Compatibility: This model (72196) is fully compatible with figures and accessories from the broader PLAYMOBIL City Action line.

Care: After using the water-spraying function, ensure the tank is fully drained and dried to prevent mold or residue buildup. Use only clean, lukewarm water to operate the spraying mechanism. If the exterior gets dirty, wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth.
