Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure your ground surface is level and clean. Position the base plate where the post will stand and mark the hole locations. Drill into the substrate using a masonry bit, then secure the plate using appropriate anchor bolts. Once the base plate is fixed, the steel post insert slides over or connects to the central support. For maintenance, periodically inspect the bolts to ensure they remain tight. Because the plate is powder-coated, it is resistant to rust; however, if the coating is chipped during installation, touch it up with exterior-grade black paint to prevent oxidation.
