Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Before applying the Jarder Indian Sandstone Patio Sealer, it is crucial to prepare the surface. Clean the area thoroughly using Jarder Spray and Leave to remove green mould and moss, or Jarder Black Spot Remover for stubborn stains. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free from any dust, dirt, or debris before proceeding.
Application: Apply one even coat of the sealer using a brush or a sprayer. Avoid applying in direct strong sunlight or when rain is forecast within 24 hours. For best results, use the recommended Jarder cleaning products beforehand to ensure the surface is in its best possible condition.
Compatibility: This sealer is designed for Indian Sandstone but is also safe for use on brick, concrete, tarmac, and other natural stone surfaces. Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and desired finish, especially on unfamiliar materials.
Curing: The sealer is rain safe after 24 hours. Full curing and maximum protection are achieved after 2-3 days. During the curing period, avoid heavy foot traffic or placing furniture on the treated area to allow the protective layer to set properly.
Care: Once cured, the sealed surface will be significantly easier to clean. Most dirt and grime can be washed away with plain water or a mild detergent. Regular sweeping will help maintain its appearance.
