The Orac Decor GB02 Gallows Bracket is designed for homeowners and contractors seeking a durable, low-maintenance structural solution for supporting flat-top exterior canopies. It provides a traditional aesthetic through a realistic woodgrain effect while offering the resilience of modern Duropolymer materials, making it an excellent choice for those wanting the look of timber without the constant need for painting or rot treatment. Note that while the bracket is robust, it must be installed according to structural load requirements and manufacturer guidelines to ensure the safety and longevity of the canopy it supports.

The bracket comes in a finished white state, but it can be painted with high-quality water-based exterior paints if you wish to change the color.
The GB02 is designed for standard flat-top canopies; please check your canopy's weight specifications against the load-bearing capacity of the bracket installation.
No, the Duropolymer material is synthetic and completely resistant to rot, decay, and wood-boring insects.
Yes, provided you use the appropriate masonry drill bits and wall plugs suitable for stone or brick surfaces.
Please check your specific order quantity, as they are often sold as individual units to accommodate different canopy widths.
The brackets are manufactured from high-density Duropolymer, a tough, impact-resistant material designed for exterior architectural use.
Verify that the correct anchors for your specific wall material were used and that they have been tightened to the manufacturer's torque specifications.
Ensure a proper bead of exterior-grade silicone sealant is applied along the upper mounting edge to divert water away from the wall-bracket interface.
Installation of the GB02 bracket requires standard masonry or carpentry tools depending on the mounting substrate. Ensure that the wall surface is clean and level before marking the position. Use appropriate wall fixings that correspond to the building material (brick, block, or timber frame) to ensure a secure connection. While the Duropolymer is weather-resistant, it is recommended to seal the top edge against the wall with a high-quality exterior-grade sealant to prevent water ingress behind the bracket. For care, the brackets are largely maintenance-free; a simple periodic rinse with soapy water is sufficient to remove dust and maintain the clean white finish. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical solvents that could damage the factory-applied surface.
