Product Information
Full details
The Wychwood Hookbait Tubs are designed for anglers who need a reliable, scent-preserving storage solution for their bait collection. These 150ml containers are perfect for keeping boilies, pop-ups, or liquids fresh, and their versatile construction makes them equally suitable for organizing small camp kitchen supplies like tea, coffee, and sugar. While they provide excellent air-tight performance, users should ensure the screw-top lid is fully tightened to maintain a perfect seal during transit in a tackle bag.

FAQs
Are these tubs dishwasher safe?
While the materials are durable, we recommend hand washing to prevent potential heat deformation of the screw threads.
Can I store oils or dip in these tubs?
Yes, the tubs are designed to be leakproof and are suitable for storing liquids, baits, and dips.
What is the exact capacity of each tub?
Each tub holds approximately 150ml of volume.
Are these tubs freezer safe?
They are designed for bait storage, but we recommend avoiding extreme temperature shifts to ensure the plastic remains durable over time.
Does the pack of 6 come with labels?
The set does not include pre-printed labels, so we recommend using a permanent marker or adhesive tape to identify your baits.
Troubleshooting
Lid feels loose or does not seal properly
Clean the threads of both the lid and the tub to remove dried bait or debris, then ensure the lid is screwed on straight.
Liquid leaking when stored sideways
Check the rim of the tub for cracks and ensure the screw-top lid is tightened firmly to compress the seal fully.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Secure screw-top lid prevents accidental spills
- Air-tight design maintains bait flavor and freshness
- Multi-purpose usage for both fishing and camping
- Compact 150ml size fits easily into standard tackle boxes
- Durable construction for long-term outdoor use
Cons
- Not intended for large bulk bait storage
- Requires manual tightening to ensure the seal
- Opaque or semi-transparent design may hide contents if not labeled
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Wychwood Hookbait Tubs, ensure the threads on both the tub and the lid are free from debris or bait particles before closing, as grit can compromise the air-tight seal. For cleaning, hand wash the tubs with mild detergent and warm water; avoid using abrasive scrubbers that might scratch the inner surface. When storing, stack the tubs upright to maximize space in your carryall. If storing liquids, verify the lid is secure by giving it a light turn until you feel the resistance of the seal.
