Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The obelisk requires simple assembly using the provided steel tubing sections and fixings. Once assembled, the legs are designed to be firmly pushed or staked into the ground. Ensure the ground is firm and relatively level for best stability. For very soft or unstable ground, consider using additional stakes (not included) for reinforcement.
Compatibility: This obelisk is compatible with most common climbing plants, including roses, clematis, jasmine, honeysuckle, and various annual climbers. It is also suitable for supporting taller, single-stemmed herbaceous plants. It works well in garden beds, borders, or even in large containers if sufficient depth is available for the legs.
Care: Clean the obelisk periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the powder coating. In regions with harsh winters or extreme weather, consider dismantling and storing the obelisk indoors to prolong its lifespan and maintain its aesthetic appeal.
