FAQs

What is the warranty on the Entity Aegis?

The Aegis comes with the Entity Platinum 2+2 package, which includes a 2-Year Collect & Return Service and a 2-Year Parts & Labor Guarantee.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage later?

Yes, the system is designed with upgradeability in mind. The 32GB DDR4 RAM can be expanded, and additional storage drives can be added, subject to the physical space and available ports on the motherboard and chassis.

How do I update the NVIDIA drivers?

You can download the latest drivers directly from the NVIDIA website or use the GeForce Experience software. It is recommended to perform clean installations of drivers to avoid potential conflicts.

Is this PC suitable for VR gaming?

Absolutely. The powerful Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti graphics card are more than capable of handling demanding VR experiences with high fidelity and smooth frame rates.

What operating system does the Aegis come with?

The Aegis comes standard with a pre-installed operating system, typically Windows, ready for initial setup upon first boot.

How often should I clean the PC?

It's recommended to clean the dust filters and exterior vents at least once a month, or more frequently if you live in a dusty environment, to maintain optimal airflow and prevent overheating.

What is the purpose of the 360mm Liquid AIO Cooler?

The 360mm Liquid All-In-One (AIO) cooler is designed to provide superior cooling performance for the high-end Intel Core i7 processor. It helps maintain lower temperatures during intensive tasks, allowing the CPU to operate at peak performance for longer periods while keeping noise levels down.

Troubleshooting

PC does not power on

Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the PC and the wall outlet. Verify the PSU switch at the back is in the 'on' (|) position. Try a different wall outlet. If the issue persists, contact support.

No display output

Confirm that the monitor cable is connected to the graphics card ports (not the motherboard ports). Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. Try a different display cable or monitor.

System is slow or freezing

Check Task Manager (`Ctrl+Shift+Esc`) to identify any applications consuming excessive CPU, RAM, or disk resources. Ensure all system and driver updates are installed. Run a virus scan. For persistent issues, consider closing unnecessary background applications or performing a clean OS reinstallation.

Overheating or loud fan noise

Clean dust from fans and heatsinks using compressed air. Ensure all case fans and the AIO radiator are unobstructed. Monitor component temperatures using software like HWMonitor. If temperatures remain high under light load, contact support as there might be an issue with the cooling system.

Network connectivity issues

Ensure the Wi-Fi antenna is properly connected to the motherboard. Restart your router and modem. Update the network drivers from the manufacturer's website or via Windows Device Manager. Check if airplane mode is accidentally enabled.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional performance for 4K gaming and professional creative applications.
  • Powerful cooling system ensures sustained performance under heavy load.
  • Ample storage and RAM for demanding multitasking and large game libraries.
  • High-quality components including a top-tier CPU and GPU.
  • Premium chassis design with visible hardware and effective airflow.

Cons

  • High cost may be prohibitive for budget-conscious users.
  • Overkill for basic computing tasks like web browsing or document editing.
  • Specific cooling requirements of the AIO might need attention during maintenance.
  • Motherboard, while capable, might be a bottleneck for extreme overclocking enthusiasts.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Upon receiving your Aegis, ensure it is placed on a stable, well-ventilated surface. Connect the power cable to the PSU and a suitable wall outlet. Connect your monitor(s) to the graphics card's DisplayPort or HDMI outputs. Connect your keyboard, mouse, and any other peripherals to the available USB ports on the rear or front of the chassis. Turn on the PC using the power button. The initial boot may take a few minutes as it sets up Windows. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows setup.

Compatibility: The system comes pre-configured with the ASUS Prime H610M-A WiFi D4 motherboard, Intel Core i7-14700F CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. The 750W 80 PLUS Gold PSU offers headroom for moderate upgrades. While the chassis supports additional storage drives, consult the motherboard manual for specific M.2 slot configurations and SATA port availability. Ensure any potential future GPU upgrades do not exceed the physical dimensions of the chassis or the power delivery capabilities of the PSU.

Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:

  1. Dusting: Regularly dust the exterior and interior vents using compressed air. Pay special attention to the intake and exhaust fans. Do this at least monthly.
  2. Liquid Cooler: The 360mm AIO is pre-filled and sealed. Ensure the radiator fans are kept clean and unobstructed. Check for any leaks or unusual noises, though this is rare with sealed units.
  3. Surface Cleaning: Wipe down the tempered glass panel and chassis exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  4. Software Updates: Keep your operating system, drivers (especially GPU drivers), and BIOS firmware updated for optimal performance and security.
