Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure the area where the mat will be installed.
- Using sharp scissors or a utility knife, carefully cut the mat to the required dimensions. Always cut from the non-reflective side for cleaner edges.
- Clean the surface where the mat will be applied, ensuring it is free from dirt, grease, and moisture.
- Secure the mat using the provided push-in fasteners, automotive-grade adhesive, or strong double-sided tape. Ensure a snug fit with no gaps, especially around edges.
Compatibility: This mat is compatible with most car makes and models. It can be used on metal, plastic, and composite surfaces within the vehicle's interior and engine bay. Ensure the intended mounting surface can withstand the temperatures being managed.
Care:
The heat-reflective foil surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the foil or insulation. Regular inspection of fasteners or adhesive is recommended to ensure the mat remains securely in place.
